iPod touch is a line of portable media players designed by Apple Company. It’s a professional music player and we can enjoy music and games with it. But besides this, many people also use iPod as a USB flash disk to transfer data, which makes it necessary to back up your iPod data. Tutorial 1: How to Extract iPod Touch Backup File

Step 1. Select the backup of your iPod

First, connect iPod to the computer. Run iPhone Data Recovery and choose "Recover from iTunes Backup File". The backup files of your computer will be scanned automatically and listed in categories on the window. Choose the one of your iPod and click "Start Scan" to move on.

It takes several seconds to scan the files. Afterwards, you can preview the files in the backup. Select the items you’d like extract and click "Recover".

Tutorial 2: Extract Data from iCloud Backup

Step 1. Log in Your iCloud Account

Launch iPhone Data Recovery and choose "Recover from iCloud Backup Files". Then log in your Apple ID.

Step 2. Download and Scan Your iCloud Backup

When you log in your Apple account, the program will display out your iCloud backups. Select the one you want and click "Download". When it is finished, click "Scan" to analyze the backup you download.

Now you can choose the items you want to extract and click the "Recover" button.
